MIZE grew up in the northern part of Germany and started playing Water Polo at a small local club at 9 years old. He eventually ended up playing in Hannover and was the starting Goalie for WASPO Hannover from 1995 to 2011 and the Goalie on the German National Team from 1997 to 2008 which lead him to 2 olympic participations in 2004 (Athens, Greece) and 2008 (Bejing, China) with 366 total international appearances.

When moving to Huntington Beach in 2016, it was never his intention to become a Goalie Coach, but he soon realized that there was a big need as well as high demand for proper Goalkeeper Development.

He created a unique approach and “The Perfect Goalie - Philosophy” and has yet helped hundreds of Goalies to better understand and play this important position in all aspects.
